Butt, Bicep & Tricep Implants

What are Gluteal, Bicep, and Triceps Implants?

As we age, lose weight, or after certain injuries, our gluteal, bicep, and triceps muscles become ill-defined. A gluteal, bicep, and triceps implant can give you a well-defined muscle, that will give you a more youthful and desirable appearance. The implant is made out of silicone and it is placed inside the muscle and deep enough so it feels natural.

Are You A Candidate for Gluteal, Bicep, and Triceps Implants?

During your visit with Dr. Tamim, he will evaluate you and come up with the right treatment plan that fits your needs. In general, an ideal candidate for gluteal, bicep, and triceps implants is someone who has an ill-defined muscle either genetically, through an injury, or after significant weight loss that is not responding to healthy life style and exercise. Or simply, if you are desiring more contoured buttocks or more pronounced bicep or triceps muscles, then implants may be right for you.

Surgical Technique

Gluteal, bicep, and triceps implant surgery is done under IV sedation or general anesthesia in one of our operating rooms. It is generally done through a small incision near the armpit or upper arm for the biceps and triceps muscle, and where the buttock cheeks meet the thighs for the buttock implant. We then create a pocket in the muscle and insert the implant inside the muscle. Closure is done with resorbable sutures.

What to Expect

Most patients see immediate results after gluteal, bicep, and triceps implant placement. And in general, recovery time is around 2 weeks. During that time, you will experience some swelling, soreness, and bruising. You will have to avoid strenuous activities for the first few weeks. We will provide you with a detailed post-operative care instruction to insure proper healing. You are expected to see your optimal results in about 4-6 weeks following surgery.
